![]() When I was a young man first stepping out into my own ventures I ask a executive business man for some advice. He told me in over 30 years of doing business the most important thing in a business is the person running the front desk. He said the person at the front desk is the first and last thing that clients see. If the person at the front desk looks like a bag-lady clients immeately will write your business off as being low class and poorly run. First and last impressions are a deal maker or breaker. I learned in the security field the same is true especially for guard gated HOA’s. When a perspective buyer is looking at a home the first person they will see upon arrival is the security officer and the last person they see upon departure is the security officer. A poorly dressed security guard or even worse a vacant guard shack, in the client's mind brings down the value of the property greatly. What would be your first thoughts if you walked into a high-end high hotel and seen the man at the front desk wearing a white t-shirt and jeans asking you $500 for a one night stay? You would probably walk out and find a different place to stay. The same principles apply in home ownership. If foreclosures are high the last thing you want to do is place a second class security guard in your guard gate and bring down perceived value of your property. This will just reduce sales and value of the homes in the assioation. Which in turn could force homeowners that are renting out homes to lower their rent prices and for homes to sell for less brining in a lower class of renters and buyers. This can quickly turn your high end property to a into a slum. Here at HOA Security Services we understand that providing security goes beyond access control and crime prevention. It is also about putting fourth an image, creating a suitable environment for buyers and residents knowing that they are getting the best. Our guard gate standard is a suite and tie attire along with security professionals that have the experience to give top notch customer service. Nothing less should be expected. |
